Admissions at Joktech College
ADMISSIONS REQUIREMENTS FORDIPLOMAENROLLMENT
Academic programs offered at the College are provided for in the fees structure. A student chooses a course of preference for as long as he/she qualifies for it. An academic programme that does not appear on the list of courses may be offered as long as it belongs to a particular department.
THE MINIMUM ENTRY REQUIREMENTS FOR ADMISSION TO A DIPLOMA PROGRAMME ARE:
Direct entry
At least five subjects (5) passed at high school. For students from others countries, Joktech will accept Qualifications that are recognized for College entry in their respective countries.
Foundation Programme Certificate
A candidate who holds a Foundation Programme Certificate from a recognized institution is eligible for admission on a diploma Program.
An International Applicant:
Must have a qualification that is recognized for College entry in his/her home country or country where he/she has studied. The applicant will be offered a provisional admission for one semester pending equating of his/her qualification. The College may consider for admission to a degree programme a candidate who has successfully completed a 12 – year - system of education provided that such a candidate has been registered at another College or institution, prior to applying to Joktech College, for a Diploma or Certificate programme and has successfully completed at least one Semester. Such a candidate must, however, submit the College academic transcript from that other University or College.
